Nina (original) by Nina Ricci: launched in 1987. Created by Christian Vacchiano of Argeville perfumers. Nina was launched exclusively in the US through Nordstrom and through direct mail before it was distributed worldwide.
Fragrance Composition:
So what does it smell like? It is classified as an aldehydic floral woody fragrance for women,
- Top notes: aldehydes, mimosa, orange blossom, currant buds, green notes, peach, basil, marigold, bergamot and lemon
- Middle notes: mimosa, violet, orris root, jasmine, ylang-ylang, west indian bay and rose
- Base notes: iris, sandalwood, patchouli, musk, civet, oakmoss, blackcurrant syrup and vetiver
Fate of the Fragrance:
Discontinued, date unknown.
Reformulated and relaunched as a completely different fragrance, also called Nina in 2007.
